Pitchford Estate makes an ideal venue for wedding receptions because of the many accommodation options and stunning architecture right across the Estate all set within the idyllic Shropshire countryside. The Pitchford Orangery has recently been restored and is also ideal for wedding receptions. The Orangery is set within the walled garden and overlooked by the Pitchford Treehouse.
The Hall itself has a huge dining room and ample accommodation for 14 guests.
Pitchford Hall is located not far from Shrewsbury in the peaceful Shropshire countryside, surrounded by the Pitchford estate. The hall itself is a ten bedroom let, but other Estate buildings let you host 16 people at Windy Mundy Farm, 14 at Stockbatch Granary and four at the Tree House Barn, with plenty of room for more at the main house itself. Inside the house has a number of huge rooms with stunning timber ceilings and large fireplaces, perfect for winter weddings. The large grounds (complete with a lake and the world’s oldest treehouse) are also great for summer weddings, which are easier to book as the Hall is generally a winter holiday venue.
The house itself has a huge dining room, ample accommodation for plenty of guests and a large front lawn suitable for marquees, as well as a sizeable kitchen with enough room for external caterers, and ample external parking for your guests. With fine scenery and several nearby towns with excellent pubs it also makes a good venue for more refined stag and hen parties. In addition, the hall itself sits next to Pitchford: St Michael and All Angels, part of the diocese of Hereford. If you’re looking for a small wedding venue contact the church for details on this 12th century church.
