Local Birdlife on Pitchford Estate
There are many species of birds to be seen on the Pitchford Estate with its mixture of farmland and woodland. Some are present all year and there is an influx of summer migrants from Africa in the spring, when they arrive to breed. In winter species like Curlew can be seen feeding on the farmland.
